
Bret Schultz joined Martin & Company's Financial Planning & Wealth Management division as an Associate Financial Advisor in 2020. He graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a Bachelor’s in Economics and, prior to joining the firm, spent 5 years in financial services as a life insurance specialist. With his background experience and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) credential from The American College of Financial Services, Bret provides a specialized approach to risk identification, risk management, and insurance planning. Ultimately, he ensures our clients have access to tax-efficient funds when they need it most.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, Bret is passionate about helping clients think and worry less about money so they can be freed up to build and enjoy the life they desire.
Outside of work, Bret enjoys the outdoors – especially riding on two wheels or any type of board! He considers himself a buffalo wing connoisseur and is a lover of coffee, beer, rock n’ roll music and having a good time.
Bret holds licensing as a General Securities Representative (Series 7 and 63), Investment Advisor Representative (Series 65), and Life/Health Insurance Agent (CA).
